Joint Venture Launches

The second type of launch that Jeff Walker is going to talk about in Product Launch Formula 3 are joint venture launches. We've all seen plenty of these - especially in the online marketing niche. Contrary to popular belief these launches work in just about every niche. There's a reason that we see so many of these launches - they just plain work.

Awhile back in the internet marketing niche all of the guru's were stepping on each others launches. There would be several launches going on at the same time and users would be inundated with all of these emails promoting products. This was hurting all of the launches because users were just tired of so many promotions at once.

So all of the gurus decided that it would be better if they worked together and made sure they didn't step all over each other. This also allowed them to do a lot more cross promotion. With the gurus working together the product launch formula was created. So we're reviewing that for you in this product launch formula 3 review.

You've most likely seen plenty of these launches - but not nearly as many as Jeff Walker has. He was the pioneer of the true guru product launch way back in 2006. Jeff has been teaching how to launch products for smaller niche users for quite awhile with his first two products. He hasn't really talked about the major launches yet but he's finally decided to do so. So if you want to create product launches like the big guns - and of course you do - then you'll want to read what Jeff has to say.

Once you do a large product launch you become a guru in your niche. The downsides of a large joint venture launch are pretty easy to see. The first one is that you don't see a majority of the sales volume. Most joint venture launches only bring home around 35% of the total sales volume as profit. However these launches drive a lot more volume then the typical internal launch. So there are definitely good reasons to do a large JV launch.

Personally I would start off with a nice internal launch for several reasons. We'll go over that in the next post.
